Tips for picking a WoW Forever name
- Every WoW Forever character has a first name and a last name, so pick both together. Our generators always give you a full First Last name.
- Each name: 2–12 letters, letters only (accents OK; no apostrophes, hyphens or numbers), never the same letter 3 times in a row. Full rules.
- Name reservation opens on 27 Oct 2026 for upgrade owners (launch is 5 Nov). Full names are first come, first served across your whole region, so have backups ready — see the reservation guide, check spelling with the name checker and use the name-taken tool.
- Accented letters (é, ö, ñ…) are a classic trick for grabbing a near-identical first or last name.
- On roleplay realms, pick a lore-friendly name that fits your race.
